FAVE Scholarship Program
FAVE offers tuition scholarships for youth in private arts education, specifically music, dance, and visual arts. These scholarships are available for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 for needy students age 18 or under, enrolled in school, and living in the Vale School District boundaries. The scholarship can apply to group or private lessons, chosen with whatever priority will provide more students exposure to the arts. Any individual may apply for a FAVE Arts Scholarship by completing an application. The FAVE Board will award the scholarships on the bases of need, cost, demonstrated ability in the arts, and community benefit, including preference to local arts providers. Class costs and children’s wishes vary each semester so the number of scholarships awarded each session will change. Any cost other than tuition is considered extra and the students will be responsible to pay for it. Extra costs include costumes, shoes, brushes, paper, instrument, and music books. All applications must be turned in to the school front office.
Fall 2010 Deadline: Wednesday, Sept. 1st (flyers go home through school Aug. 26th 2010)
Spring 2011 Deadline: Monday, Jan. 10th (flyers go home through school Jan. 4th 2011)
